Dedh Ishqiya movie review: Khalu-Babban are back with a bang

Khalu Jaan and Babban (Arshad Warsi) part their ways after a quarrel and have a new independent aim particularly Khalu Jaan who wants to win the poetry festival and most prominently Begum Para who had organised it fulfilling the last wish of her late husband that her new life partner should be a poet.

 

Khalu, in his traditional attire, approaches Begum's city Mahmudabad, where renowned poets from all corners have submerged to win her over. But here he also has a local politician Jaan Mohammad (Vijay Raaz) who is also eying over Begum and will do whatever it takes to claim her, even Khalu and Babban's life. Baaban on the other hand arrives here to bring back Khalu but is smitten by Begum's maid or say companion Muniya (Huma Qureshi) who has some clever plans to ruin her.
