New Delhi: Debina Bonnerjee is making it to her grounds by performing 'Sita' once again.
The actress who rose to fame from her mythological stint opposite her real life husband Gurmeet Choudhary in Ramayan a few years ago will be essaying the similar character in a TV show.
The makers of Uff Yeh Nadaniyaan have approached Debina to reprise the character of 'Sita' in the show for an episode. And while the show will star the actress in a character with a slight twist, Debina herself seems excited for the show.
As she explained about the jist of her role and how much she loves turning 'Sita' all over again, the actress stated that she is looking forward to how such mythological character surfaces a comedy show.
In her statement to a leading daily, the TV actress said "This time around, I'll be able to essay the role like a pro. I am looking forward to seeing how they blend the character of Sita into a comedy show. I can't do anything eccentric as all my gestures are expected to be controlled. I will play the part the way she is perceived by a common man."
Also, Debina even talked about missing his husband Gurmeet opposite her this time. However, she claimed that if ever she has been seen as 'Sita,' it is always Gurmeet who is seen as 'Ram' and she hopes for the same to remain always.
