Akash Bharadwaj, a delusional fan of Bollywood actor Kangna Ranaut, was arrested by Mumbai police, says a Mumbai Mirror report. Bhardwaj was having an imaginary affair with her.
It was reported last year that a young man in his 20s was sitting on a hunger strike outside Leena Mogre's gym, where Kangna works out regularly.
One of Kangna's stalkers, this man was demanding that she meet him urgently. He was obviously taken into police custody soon after.
Strangely,the latest incident occurred at the same venue. And this time,one of Leena Mogre's clients, Akash Bhardwaj, was stalking Kangna. But the lovelorn man crossed limits and was immediately arrested by the police.
The story actually goes back six months, when Akash started writing passionate love letters to Kangna.
The letters were mostly couriered to her. Says a friend of Kangna, the letters made it very clear that Akash was madly in love with her. But a few of the recent ones were shocking.
Talking about the content of the recent letters, Kangna's friend says, the letters suggested that the man was a psychopath. He was living under the impression that Kangna was already in a relationship with him. He wrote, Kangna,mera haque hai tum par, you are made for me.
What the stalker was made for, unfolded a few days later.
On Monday, Kangna asked one of the trainers at the gym about Akash. The trainer told her that Akash was present in the gym at that very moment. The trainer went up to Akash and questioned him as to why he was harassing Kangna.
Recounting the horror, Kangna's friend says, the actress was present there. Akash told the trainer that this was a private matter between Kangna and him, and that he should stay out of it.
Hearing this, a flabbergasted Kangna argued with Akash, who said to her, “Kya tum woh mahsoos nahin karti jo main mahsoos karta hun”.
This was when Leena Mogre called for the cops.
Apparently, the ecurity guards sensed that Akash was not going to give up. They went up to him and asked him to leave the premises immediately. But he lost his composure and started yelling back at them and this prompted Mogre to take immediate action.
While being escorted to the police van by the cops, Akash showed no signs of anger or remorse; his face looked like that of a typical victim of unrequited love.
Sure enough, he turned around and said, “Usne (Kangna) itna sab kuch keh diya. Sab kuch khatam ho gaya.”
We don't know about his imaginary affair but Akash's membership at the gym is definitely over. The man has been forbidden from entering the premises.
Confirming this, Leena Mogre, said: “We have taken both police and legal action against Akash. This guy was quite star-struck and wanted me to introduce him to film directors as well. We don't want any more trouble in our gym.”
Additional Commisioner of Police Amitabh Gupta said: Kangna's stalker is still in custody. He was trying to get help from her to start his career in Bollywood. During this time he fell in love with her. Kangna got very angry with him at the gym on Monday. We are now looking into the matter.”
