New Delhi: Popular celebrity talk show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil' is going off air after three years of some impressive performances by Kapil Sharma and his team.

The popular comedian Kapil Sharma gained massive popularity through his celebrity talk show

The show became India's highest rated scripted TV show. At CNN-IBN Indian of the Year awards, Sharma was awarded the Entertainer of the Year award for 2013.

The comedy show has become one of the favourite shows amongst the audience.

But it seems that this entertainment won't last for long as ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil' is going off air.

Shocked?

Unfortunately, it's true. The comedy show is coming to an end and the worst is that the show is not ending on a good note as the show host Kapil Sharma is not happy with Colors. The last episode of the show will be aired on January 17, 2016.

Reportedly, the show makers of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil' feel that their show is being sidelined and the attention has been driven to ‘Comedy Nights Bachao'.

According to the media reports, a source of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil' stated that how they were misinformed about the new show, instead of titling it Roast, as planned, it was titled Comedy Nights Bachao and also the stars and gags being featured on the show are more than often same, which takes away the limelight from Kapil's show.

Infact, during a media event, Kapil Sharma himself confirmed the news saying, . “Yes, it's true. We told them we would go off air in December, but since they didn't have a replacement ready, they requested us to continue till January 17. We started on a good note and put in immense hard work to maintain the quality”.
