New Delhi: Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu got drenched in record breaking rains. The daily life came to a standstill as worst showers hit the southern city in a century. The entire nation is praying that normalcy returns to the city soon, but there is one person who is doing more than just that.
Actor Siddharth, who is known to many for his role in Rang De Basanti, is using his stardom to help victims in every way he can. He has been quite active on Twitter since the night of 1st December. He, along with radio jockey and actor R Balaji, are constantly tweeting updates about the flood.
On the evening of 1st December, Siddharth tweeted a photo of his bathroom saying; “Bathrooms submerged. Water coming out of the drains. I am an affluent actor. This is my house. Imagine rest of TN.”

Amidst this difficult time, Balaji and he are trying to reach out to as many people as they can. Siddharth has been quite prompt in his replies and being a real messiah at the time of crisis.
