Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2 were among the big budget flicks which didn't disappoint the makers and entered the elite club of Rs 100 cr. Ranbir-Deepika's starrer became the second highest grosser of Indian cinema ever after 3 Idiots until SRK's Chennai Express got a green signal to shatter all the previous records.
Once again with Deepika in the lead, the flick minted Rs 222 crore by the end of its fourth weekend and is still counting. These flicks weren't critically admired but the star power didn't require any word of mouth to reach success. Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' also found a place in the elite club.
