Jaspal Bhatti

Once known as the ‘king of comedy', Jaspal Bhatti was famous for taking up common man's issues satirically. An actor, a director and a producer, one of Jaspal Bhatti's most famous shows was the television series ‘Flop Show'.

Bhatti died on 25th October 2012 in a car accident near Jalandhar, just one day before the release of his film ‘Power Cut'. He is survived by his wife Savita Bhatti, son Jasraj and daughter Raabiya.

Abir Goswami

Abir Goswami passed away on May 31, 2013 at the age of 38 years. Abir died of a massive heart attack while he was on a treadmill in the gym. It is said the he had rheumatic heart disease.

The actor worked in serials like Kumkum, Hotel Kingston, Yahan Main Ghar-Ghar Kheli, Pyar Ka Dard, etc and in some movies as well.

He is survived by his wife.

Rubina Shergill

Rubina Shergill, popularly known for her performance in Zee TV's “Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein” as ‘Inspector Simran Kaushik' passed away on 23 December 2011 in Mumbai.

Shergill was suffering from asthma and had a severe attack on the sets after which she was rushed to the hospital. She slipped into coma during treatment and eventually breathed her last in December 2011.
