New Delhi: The telecom arm of Reliance Industries Limited, Reliance Jio rolled out 4G telecom services for its employees, yesterday. RIL has roped in superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador and the event was graced by music maestro A.R. Rahman.
Soon after the event, the hashtag #CelebratingJio topped trends across India. Just like millions of netizens, some of our favourite Bollywood celebs took to Twitter to show support for this move by RIL.
Surprisingly, as it turned out, 9 of our celebs ended up tweeting the same words.
Celebs including Hrithik Roshan, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani among others tweeted; “Congratulations to the Jio family on this landmark day! This truly seems like the beginning of a Digital India #CelebratingJio”

Well, with the precise same words, seems the celebs were too lazy to type their thoughts. This act by celebs did not go unnoticed by Twitterati. Seeing a series of same words on their home page, Internet trolls slammed the celebs for copying each other. Many made fun of their ‘artistic' nature while others agreed that as influencers of the society they could have done better than this.

At the launch held at the sprawling Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai, which was attended by over 35,000 group employees, A. R. Rahman and SRK put up a great show. The company is offering 4 free SIM cards with Jio mobile service to its over 1 lakh employees as of now which will start today.
Speaking at the launch, Mukesh Ambani said, “Today, on the eve of the 83rd birthday of Dhirubhai, my father, it is my proud privilege to invite all our Reliance families and friends to be the first to experience Jio's services starting tomorrow and in coming weeks. While you enjoy Jio Digital Life, I am also counting on you, as part of my family, to be part of co-creating the best experience for all our customers.”
