Mumbai: Looks like Karan Johar's much awaited project 'Shuddhi' will roll on soon as the cast of the film has been finalised. If sources are to be believed then alleged couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, have been signed to play the lead in the ambitious project. This will be their second film post hit 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela'.
Not to forget that 'Shuddhi' faced constant delays for one or the other reason ever since it was announced with Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor as the original cast.
Initially, it got postponed due to Hrithik's health issues. Later, the actor quit and so as Kareena after waiting for long. However, quite some time back, it was also learnt that Hrithik had tried to be back in 'Shuddhi' but that seems to be just a rumor as he is currently shooting for 'Bang Bang'.
For now, as per the sources, Deepika and Ranveer are confirmed for 'Shuddhi'. Apparently, Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra are waiting to have a meeting with Ranveer, who is currently busy shooting for his film 'Kill Dil'. Well, with Deepika and Ranveer in 'Shuddhi' we can again hope for some hot and sensuous chemistry on-screen.
