Bollywood newcomers who made an impact in 2012

New delhi: Year by year numerous superstars are joining the Tinsel Town and are marking their presence with their performances. Some might vanish in the coming years and some might stay. Well time will tell further. For the year 2012, there is a long list of the newcomers who charmed the silver screens with their acts.Let's start with the British model Amy Jackson who did her acting debut with a South flick. Opposite Prateik Babbar in Ek deewana tha, Amy entered b'wood and looked beautiful. Though not praised for her work but her chemistry with the lead actor gained much attention. The actress has got no offers from B'wood but will be seen in South flicks once again.Turning on the page, its Ishaqzaade star Arjun Kapoor. He transformed himself so well from a round fatty guy to a slim and muscular actor and it was all revealed in the flick.Son of renowned Producer Boney Kapoor, Arjun has proved his mettle with his debut flick opposite Parineeti Chopra. His performance has gained him three offers from filmmakers for the flicks namely Gunday, Aurangzeb and KJ's untitled venture which are all slated to hit the screens in the coming year.The subject like Sperm donation couldn't have been better treated by any other star except Ayushmann Khurana. VJ turned Anchor and finally an actor, Ayushman couldn't expect for more as his debut flick “Vicky Donor” turned out to be a surprise hit of the year. His performance did wonders and his vocal for ‘Pani Da' added cherry on the cake. This sperm donor is in demand and has bagged two offers namely ‘Hamara Bajaj' and ‘Nautanki Saala'.Ayushman Khurana's co-star in the flick ‘Vicky Donor' Yami Gautam has too gained immense popularity as an independent working woman. Being the face of ‘fair & lovely', Yami quickly switched over to big screen from small screen. The beautiful lady has become favorites of many filmmakers and will be seen in John Abrahim's another production opposite Ayushman once again. Also Yami will work with Ali Zafar in ‘Aman Ki Aasha'.The year turned out to be a bonanza for Miss India Esha Gupta with three hit flicks in a row. The two namely “Jannat 2” and ‘Raaz 3D' with Emraan Hashmi gave the lady a brilliant start and later with Prakash Jha's ‘Chakravyuh' the actress hit a hat-trick. Vishesh films has again roped in Esha for their untitled production. What more she could expect for.Adding to the number of new faces, the cocktail girl Diana Penty was admired for her innocent looks in the flick. Her charm and moves in ‘tum hi Bandhu' track gained admiration from all around. Currently the lady has no flick in her kitty but we are waiting for her to come again on silver screen.‘Barfee' was one of the most awaited flick of the year with Ranbir and Priyanka coming together once again after ‘Anjaana-Anjaani', but the South actress Ileana D'Cruz made her equivalent presence on screen in the flick. In Bengali look the actress looked beautiful and was highly praised for her performance. She will soon be witnessed opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero'.Last but not the least; Karan Johar gave a big launch pad to some young talent namely Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. All three came from a well known background and looked good on screen. While Alia has bagged Kjo's untitled venture, Siddharth Malhotra is roped in for Farah Khan's ‘Happy New Year'. Varun hasn't signed any project yet but we are sure for this actor to accompany few in the coming year.With so much of promising talents came up this year, we just hope for them to stay in Tinsel town for long.
