New Delhi: The ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye' actress Rati Agnihotri, who married Anil Virwani in 1985, filed complaint against him on Saturday alleging that he mentally tortured her and assaulted her physically.
The incident has once again shook Bollywood since there have been cases in the past that evidently show how Tinsel town too has an ugly side.

Preity Zinta-Preity Zinta and her former beau Ness Wadia's case was one of the most controversial molestation cases in Bollywood. The ‘Veer-Zaara' actress accused her IPL team ‘King X1 Punjab' co-owner Wadia of grabbing her hand and abusing her during a cricket match in Wankhede Stadium.
Geetika Tyagi-Last year in February, actress Geetika Tyagi, uploaded a video featuring her accusing "Jolly LLB" filmmaker Subhash Kapoor of "forcing himself" on her and "dragging her" during a party held over a year ago. The video was considered as a case of casting couch for the way it was picturised but Tyagi denied such reports in the media.
Rhea Chakraborty-Video Jockey and actor Rhea Chakraborty was groped by a well-dressed man inside her building premises, however she succeeded in kicking him out. Following this the ‘Sonali Cable' actress filed a molestation complaint against an unknown person at Khar police station last year.
Alisa Khan-Back in 2011, this molestation case was different since it involved as actress accusing another female co-star. Debutant actress Alisa Khan accused her co-star Rakhi Vohra of molesting her during the shooting of a Bollywood film 'My Husband's Wife' in Kuala Lumpur. She claimed that her Rakhi flirted with her by chasing her naked inside their room. Vohra stripped off Alisa's clothes and when she revolted Vohra locked her into the room and went for shooting alone.
'Pavitra Bandhan' actress-In another case in 2014, a television actress, who works in Doordarshan's serial 'Pavitra Bandhan' filed a complaint to the Cine and Television Artistes Association accusing her co-actor Zakir Khan of molesting her during the shooting of a kidnapping scene. The accused refused to apologise even after she screamed at him twice. Production house Balaji Telefilms was asked to take strict action him.
