Mumbai: Rohit Shetty's film Bol Bachchan, starring Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan has garnered Rs 12.10 crores on the opening at the box office, says a press release by the film producer.
The film is reportedly shaping to be Devgn-Shetty's biggest openers, having generated 36 per cent higher figures than Singham and around 43 per cent higher than Golmaal 3 during their opening days, claims the producer.
The press release said, morning shows on Saturday in Mumbai territory are showing a growth trend of close to 15 to 20 per cent over Friday, which according to trade pundits is a good indication of record breaking weekend collections.
In the overseas market too, the film is getting good collections with Bol Bachchan faring significantly better than recent releases (Rowdy Rathore, Agneepath) in New Zealand, the press release says.
