New Delhi: Bobby Jasoos Vidya Balan's latest target of one of her disguised avatar would be none other than the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi himself.
The critically acclaimed actress, who is on promotion spree for her upcoming Bobby Jasoos has planned to promote the film in Vododara next. And the popular tea stall in the city that sold free tea during elections in support of PM Modi is going to be the place of her mark.
The actress who has donned many characters in Bobby Jasoos as she plays a detective, has creatively planned her appearance as Modi.
Vidya Balan and the team of Bobby Jasoos, have done a thorough research on PM Modi's various political campaign outing during the elections. And therefore, a close-to-real look has been designed for Vidya's today's visit to the place.
The actress recently fooled Hrithik Roshan when she dressed –up as a beggar and landed in the restaurant where the actor was shooting. She successfully made a lot of hue and cry and even refused to get away and urged for alms from the actor himself.
Though Vidya and the entire team of Bobby Jasoos are steering various interesting strategies to promote the film amid audience, this act has got a slight edge to it.
The co-producer of the film and Bollywood actress Dia Mirza too posted on Twitter and informed that Vidya Balan would be in the city of Vadodara today to promote Bobby Jasoos.
Later, she again tweeted, "Dear Baroda, #BobbyJasoos pyaari, imaandaar ladki hain. Usse apna pyaar dena :) woh aap sabko pyaar dene aur aapka pyaar batorne aai hain!"
A source close to the actress confirmed saying, “Vidya will dress up as Narendra Modi and visit the tea stall.”
Now since Vidya is sweeping into the shoes of Narendra Modi, it would be interesting to see how she matches the grandeur of the PM himself!
Bobby Jasoos' is out on July 4. Directed by Samar Shaikh and produced by Dia Mirza and her beau Sahil Sangha, the film is based on a popular detective series aired on Doordarshan.
