New Delhi: Bigg Boss 8 really needs a stir sailing boat to carry on with its entertainment appeal. And while host Salman Khan seems to be the only saving factor of the show so far, the makers have thought of giving the show a last push.
Reportedly, the current season of Bigg Boss that was supposed to end on Januray 4 has been extended for a month till February considering its low rate of entertainment. And if the latest buzz has anything to believe, then popular director-choreographer Farah Khan would be replacing Salman as the host for the desired extended period.
Salman, who is formally associated with the season as host till January, will have to renew his contract if in case he continues his job. However, the actor has prior commitments and he will resume the shooting of his Kareena Kapoor starrer Bajrangi Bhaijan after January, so no time for Bigg Boss 8.
While the makers had initially approached Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor, but the makers have finally zeroed in on Farah Khan. And owing to her witty attitude and extrovert qualities, Farah has instantly given her nod to host the show for a month of extension.
Farah, who is raving the success of recently released ‘Happy New Year' had earlier hosted her own talk show named ‘Tere Mere Beach Mein' where she had indulged in a tete-a-tete with Salman Khan in the first episode and Shah Rukh Khan in the last one.
Farah is also one of the celebrity viewers who claim to have a keen interest in Bigg Boss series.
And while the contestants inside the house have given their approval for the planned extension of a month for the show, it would be interesting to see how well does Farah gel with the housemates and with the audience too.
Well, we say there is a lot more to watch-out-for in Bigg Boss 8!
