Day 33 in the Bigg Boss 8 house began usually. Ali is seen sharing his woes with Diandra, he tells her how irritated he is with Sonali, as he has to tell Sonali to get working and how she always fails to obey him.
Before the nomination, Diandra is called in the confession room to choose two names from rest of the house as the next captain. Diandra tries to discuss it with Karishma about choosing the captain, and she ends up irking Diandra with her replies.
Karishma says that she will go with the what the majority chooses.
During the nominations, Sushant and Upen get maximum vote. Minissha is the one who votes for Diandra. After the nominations, Upen, Arya and Soni explain why they chose Sushant. According to them Sushant could get angry but won't shout at them. Everybody felt that Diandra is not worthy because of her temper.
Diandra was seen sharing her disappointment with Minissha, but Minissha tells her not to react as this will add to housmates' opinion about her. When Upen asks Diandra, she opens up and says that she is rather miffed with Karishma's decision to go with the majority. Karishma explains her stand by saying that she wanted to choose a deserving person and she would have chosen Upen even before voting for Sushant.
Upen starts a new argument saying that he has seen Diandra getting personal during arguments. Diandra, on the other hand justifies her behaviour by saying that it is not just her, but even Soni snaps at people when they try speaking to her.
In the afternoon, Ali shares his pearls of wisdom with Sonali, while sitting the porch. He tells her how he saw her on national television with Karishma and another inmate smoking in a secret corner. He also warns her to stay away from Gautam, if she is not serious about him as these things are not taken in a good spirit in the Indian culture.
Later, housemates are shown sitting together in the living area and BB asks Diandra about the final two names for the captainship. Diandra tells BB that the housemates have collectively nominated Upen and Sushant.
BB says that the final decision will be taken on the basis of a comptetion between two contenders. BB picks Ali as one of the contenders and gives him the right to choose the second contender between Upen and Sushant. With a strategy in mind, Ali very smartly chooses Sushant for the competition.
