New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer Bajirao Mastani continues its stronghold on the box office.
The movie has earned whooping Rs 20.5 crore in the third week of its release. Precisely talking, the magnum opus collected Fri 7.50 cr, Sat 6 cr, Sun 7 cr, taking the grand total to Rs 162.35 crore business in India.
The historical love saga of Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao and warrior princess Mastani is grabbing eyeball in overseas also. The movie, so far, has collected Rs 13.5 mn [₹ 90 cr] outside India.
Released on December 18, Bajirao Mastani faced a tough clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale. It opened to a slow start but gradually gained momentum, thanks to positive reviews and word of mouth publicity.

Once looking far in competition, Bajirao Mastani has now surpassed Dilwale's collection which stands at Rs 141.58 crore after three weeks. Though, Dilwale is phenomenal overseas with earning of $ 22.5 million [₹ 149.80 cr] in kitty.
Going by the superb show of Bajirao Mastani in its third week of release, the movie might take the whole of January by storm.
