New Delhi: With February 13th inching closer for Messenger of God's release, a huge buzz is being witnessed on the social media and at the venues where the lead actor cum guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh marks his presence. And no matter how many controversies surround the movie, Baba Ram Rahim is all calm and cool with it.
The movie ever since its first trailer got out has been encircled with arguments that also led the Chairperson Leela Samson and nine members to resign from the Censor Board. “We never thought that the movie would hurt anybody like this because there in nothing wrong in it, said the 47-year old ‘Guruji' to a leading daily when questioned about the mayhem in Censor Board.
Rahim Singh is least perturbed with unnecessary hullabaloo being created as he believes there is nothing wrong being portrayed besides it carries a genuine message, which asks youngsters to quit drugs and alcohol.
“They are making a mountain out of the mole without watching my flick. They should consider watching it first, then decide whether it is against any religion, culture or not”, said Rahim further.
His all-round antics in the flick where he will be seen fighting, dancing and singing, have been a subject of criticism but his followers love it immensely. Moreover, Singh feels it's the way to reach out to the youths and draw them to a good cause. This ‘rockstar baba', not only designs his t-shirts but also modifies bikes and what not.
“Messenger of God" or "MSG” will hit over 4,000 screens across the country on Feb 13.
The movie was shot with Bollywood professionals and leading entertainment teams. A live concert, with over 125,000 followers was recorded in a stadium in Sirsa last month that will also be a part of MSG.
