While we were basking in the glory of ‘Baahubali' which has broken several records of Indian cinema, there is yet another mega blockbuster movie which has outshone it and interestingly this one is also from South India.

Some time ago, we were left appalled on hearing that the tickets of the premiere show of Bahubali sold at Rs. 10,000. But then here is another film which has not just beaten but smashed this record.

South Indian actor Mahesh Babu's recent flick ‘Srimanthudu' which hit the screens on Friday is making a killing from foreign shores.

As per a report, the tickets of the film are being sold at a hefty amount of $15,000, i.e. Rs 9,50,000.

The movie will be released on 150 screens in the US and owing to the large fan base of the actor there, the production has already started minting money.

Talking about the storyline of the movie, it revolves around a Srimanthudu (which translates to billionaire) who adopts an entire village to bring about change.

The film is directed by Koratala Siva and produced jointly by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan for Mythri Movie Makers.

Kamal Hassan's daughter Shruti Hasaan is playing the female lead while Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj, Brahmanandam, Sukanya and Harish Uthaman appear in supporting roles.

Very much like Salman Khan, none of the recent movies of Mahesh Babu has turned out to be a flop.
