New Delhi: Bollywood actress Asin got married to her long time beau Rahul Sharma in a Christian wedding in Delhi yesterday
The couple had their saath-pheras in the evening in Hotel Dusit Devarana.
Since Asin and Rahul belong to different cultures, their wedding sported the blend of both.
Their first wedding held at a Church in Delhi and was reportedly attended by around 50 guests.
The actress looked breathtaking in her white gown as her groom, Micromax co-owner, Rahul walks with her, hand in hand. Asin's bridal attire for the Christian wedding was designed by Vera Wang.
The couple was introduced by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who played the cupid between Asin and Rahul.
While he was the first one to get the invitation of the wedding, Asin also chose him to be her best man in the Christian wedding.
Akshay, who was in the national capital to promote his upcoming movie 'Airlift', made sure to mark hi presence at the wedding.
The Christian wedding was followed by a lunch in the Chinese restaurant.
Asin and Rauhl also got married as per the hindu rituals in the evening. Their lagan mandap was set in Hotel Dusit Devrana.
Asin looked elegant as she wore a Sabyasachi Mukherjee bridal dress for her big day. The groom Rahul complimented her well in his royal attire.
Asin-Rahul's big day saw some lavish preparations at Dusit Devarana.
Post the saat-pheras, a grand dinner party took place in the hotel. The menu of the party was reportedly Indian and completely vegetarian.
Asin and Rahul have also planned a get-together in the bride-groom's farm house in near Sonali Farms which will reportedly take place on January 20.
The couple will reportedly host a grand reception in Mumbai on January 23rd, which will be attended by their friends from the business world and the film fraternity.
Seeing the stunning venue and the lavish preparations for Asin-Rahul's big fat wedding, it is not an exaggeration to say that it will make even the bigwigs feel jealous.
