Bollywood star Deepika Padukone was good friends with Asin, but of late, their friendship has gone sour, all because of a film.The reason is believed to be Anees Bazmee's untitled film, which is a remake of southern hit Ready.
Deepika, the media report says, was first approached by Anees for the film, which also stars Salman Khan. But Deepika showed some reluctance in signing on the dotted line owing to her tight schedule.
The moment Anees realised this, he rushed to Asin to sign her for the film. Now Asin is officially onboard but Deepika is miffed that she said yes to a film which was first offered to her.Deepika was keen to work with Anees and Salmn Khan. And this, it seems, has come in the way of their friendship.
Anees is currently working on his other project, Thank You, and is in Canada with the unit. A mole from Anees's team says the filmmaker had also considered Genelia D'Souza for the role.
