Mumbai: Actor Ashish Chowdhry, who is ready to show his daring side in the sixth season of "Khatron Ke Khiladi", says while money is an attraction for participating in the reality show, it is his love for adventure that also pulled him into it.
The winner of the show takes back a huge amount.
Asked if the monetary prize played an important role in making him give the nod for joining the show, the actor, who once reportedly went bankrupt, said: "Isn't it the criterion for everyone?"
"I am honestly going to miss my kids when I am in Cape Town, but I have to make a lot of money for them. See if I was very loaded (with money), I wouldn't have left them, but now I am making money for their education and future."
"I will be honest...I genuinely wanted to do this show also because I love adventure. I have been offered all the reality shows -- from 'Bigg Boss' to 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' -- they have all been kind enough to ask me, and I have always said 'no' because I felt that I am an actor, but not a great dancer," he added.
Ashish was recently blessed with twin girls, and his first child with wife Samita is a son named Agastya. He also takes care of the two children of his late sister Monica, who died in the 26/11 attacks.
The sixth season of "Khatron Ke Khiladi" will go on air in January 2015, but a date is yet to be fixed.
What's his greatest fear?
"I don't want to make a fool of myself...no one likes losing. I am not a great sportsman and I am not scared of snakes or reptiles. I am only scared of losing early," said the "Dhamaal" actor.
