Kapil Sharma, the host of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil' who is recovering from slip disc, rumours are doing the rounds that the show will go off air. Some even said that Kapil has left the show, while there were some who said that Bollywood A-listers like Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh were approached for the same.
However, none of the rumours have turned to be true. Lately, we got a confirmation that Arshad Warsi will replace Kapil in the show. Infact, even this is learnt that he has already shot one episode of the show.
As already mentioned he has already shot for one episode of the show with Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran i.e. the team of upcoming flick Drishyam.
We are well-aware of his sense of humour as we have watched it in several films like ‘Munna Bhai MBBS', ‘Jolly LLB', ‘Guddu Rangeela' etc.
While confirming the news, Arshad tweeted, “OMG.. Had an Awesome time with Ajay D, Tabu & Shriya Saran at Comedy Night's with Kapil. I hosted the show, hope you like it. (sic)”
Indeed, it was well-received by his fans.
Reportedly, the show might witness a new host in every episode. It is learnt that Kapil can take another 3 weeks to recover fully.
