New Delhi: Arjun Kapoor, whose chemistry with Alia Bhatt in ‘2 States' is currently the talk of the town, has made a shocking revelation that Arpita Khan was his first ever love.
The ‘Ishaqzaade' actor in an interview to a leading daily has opened about his serious relationship with Salman's loving sister and how his life changed post break-up.
Arjun Kapoor was just an assistant director to Nikhil Advani in ‘Salaam-E-Ishq' which also starred Salman Khan when he dated bhai's sister Arpita.
The actor in an interview to a leading daily said, “I was scared of Salman bhai and went and told him and the entire family as I wanted them to know from me first. They were very kind about it. He was taken aback, but he respects people and relationships. In fact, he was partial in that relationship where he would always take my side."
Post his break-up with Arpita, Arjun's relationship with Salman didn't soar as he feared so. He added "I was 140 kgs, was assisting Nikhil Advani in Salaam-E-Ishq and had a girlfriend, would party and felt my life was headed in the right direction and felt sorted and thought that I would direct my film by 22, till she broke up with me and suddenly I was confused about what my future held for me. Even after breaking up, I would hang out with him. He was my friend, my father-figure, older brother, everything at that point. He was an older brother I never had and he made me realise how important it is to have an older brother."
Even after they are not in relationship, Arpita is still fond of Arjun. If reports are to be believed then the Khan sister booked an entire theatre for watching Arjun's debut flick ‘Ishakzaade'.
Meanwhile, actor's '2 States' also co-starring Alia Bhatt is up for release.
