New Delhi: Recently, the grapevine was rife with the news that actor Arjun Rampal's closeness to Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife, was the reason for their divorce. While both of them denied the news, the duo was spotted on a coffee date in Mumbai recently.
The celebrities of Bollywood are famous for hiding their personal lives from the eyes of the media. Following the same pattern, when Arjun was linked with Sussanne, he rubbished the rumours.
Taking action to defend himself, Arjun had also put out a strong statement on his Twitter account. He had tweeted, “Games people play, arises from their own insecurities. I just wish them a lot of self confidence. Hopefully they forgive themselves soon. Peace.”
As it turns out, it was just another way of shutting the rumours. We hear that recently, Arjun and Sussanne went to a coffee parlour together. The duo took a comfortable seat in the café and indulged in what looked like a meaningful conversation. On noticing that they were surrounded by people who might click their pictures together, the two fled the café in a hurry.
When they became the cynosure of all eyes, they were uncomfortable. An eye witness told a leading daily, “They got extremely uncomfortable with the public attention and fled in Sussanne's car. Arjun's SUV followed them behind.”

Looks like the rumours that Arjun had nothing to do with Sussanne's divorce weren't so baseless after all. Perhaps the entire family of hers, including her mother and brother Zayed Khan, are rubbishing any such news only because there is more to this link-up than meets the eye.
