New Delhi: It might shock many but R Balki's upcoming flick Ki and Ka was first offered to Anushka Sharma. It was after her rejection that the movie went to Kareena Kapoor Khan.
However, Balki originally wrote the film keeping Bebo in the frame but offered it to Anushka Sharma first. As per reports, the Shamitabh director was not sure if Saif Ali Khan's dear wife would give her nod for the movie.
It is not clear on what grounds Anushka said no to R Balki but she was a bit hesitant in accepting the movie. It prompted the director to go back to his original choice and luckily Kareena didn't disappoint him.
The project now has Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. The film will see Bebo playing the role of an ambitious career-driven wife while Arjun will essay the stay-at-home husband.
Well! It seems the role was really meant for Kareena Kapoor. With her being in the movie, at least two people certainly get their wishes fulfilled.
The first is director R Balki, who was keen on roping in Kareena for his movie, and the second one is Arjun Kapoor who got the chance to pair opposite his childhood crush Kareena.
