New Delhi: Anushka Sharma who will be playing the role of Rosie, a Jazz singer from the Bombay of 1960s has opted for a retro look. A leaked picture from the Bombay Velvet's promotional song reveals.
Anushka surely looks drop dead gorgeous in this get up. We love the retro styled hair, makeup and the long silver earrings that add to the glamorous appeal, followed by the Marilyn Monroe inspired pose being pulled of by the actress quite well. The look is very vintage!
The still is from the promotional song that was titled ‘Mohabbat Buri Bimari' for which composer Amit Trivedi has collaborated with Jazz artist Mikey McCleary.
We hear that Anushka was given 140 costumes to sport for the film. Apart from this the beauty will also be seen wearing a heavy weight gown in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer.

The film is based on historian Gyan Prakash's book ‘Mumbai Fables' and tells the story of a street fighter (played by Ranbir Kapoor) and aspiring jazz musician Rosie (Anushka).
The romantic thriller is being presented by Fox Star Studios and has been produced by Phantom Films. It also stars Raveena Tandon and Karan Johar in pivotal roles.
After postponing numerous dates for release, the makers have finally locked a release date in May. The movie is getting late due to its post production work.
The film is directed by ace director Anurag Kashyap.
