Mumbai: Amrit Sagar, who recently wilelded the megaphone for not-so-successful comedy "Rabba Main Kya Karoon", says his next will be a suspense thriller and will start shooting the film next year.
Before "Rabba Main Kya Karoon", which starred Arshad Warsi, Riya Sen, Raj Babbar, Paresh Rawail, Sushmita Mukherjee, Tinu Anand, Himani Shivpuri, Sagar had directed National Award winning war film "1971".
"Right now I am scripting a suspense thriller. I had the script in mind for quite some time and for the last six years, I was trying to make it. Now, finally I have decided to make the film. It will go on floors by next year," Sagar told IANS.
Long time back, he had approached Manoj Bajpayee for the film.
Sagar said: "I had approached Manoj Bajpayee for this film, but he said he has done something similar before. Now let's see... I am working on the script."
"Suspense thriller has always done well provided the script is strong. If you have a convincing script, no one can stop you," he added.
