The First fixation
For Jaya Bachchan, it was a love at first sight when she first saw the tall man in her campus at FTII, Pune. Later, she got introduced with Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of ‘Guddi' and their only, the proximity between the two started blowing.
As told by Amitabh in an interview, it was during the film 'Ek Nazar,' that he started falling for Jaya. Rajesh Khanna, who was the superstar of Bollywood in those days considered Jaya as a good friend. Therefore, he wanted Jaya to maintain distance with a struggling actor and many a time even gave Amitabh a rude ignorance on the sets of ‘Bawarchi.'
