New Delhi: Southern actress Amala Paul and Tamil director AL Vijay, who earlier exchanged rings at a church in Kochi, today tied knot at Valliammai Hall MRC Centre in Chennai in a traditional South Indian style.
Vikram, Jagapathi Babu, Mani Ratnam, Bala, Jeyam Raja, Sangeetha Krish, Abbas, Krish, Arya and Samuthirakani among others from the Tamil film Industry attended the ceremony and blessed the duo.
While bride Amala was seen sporting Kanchivaram sari designed by Mukherjee, the groom Vijay opted for traditional veshti.
Later in the evening today, the newly-wed couple will host a grand reception. The actress will be seen donning a designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's creation with jewels from Amrapali and Joy Lukas.
The two who have been dating for three years fell in for each other on the sets of Tamil flick ‘Deiva Thirumagal'.
