Is veteran actor Alok Nath deviating from his stereotype figure of an ethical and respected ‘Babuji'?
This is one question that is coming to everybody's mind since the renowned actor abused a woman's group activist on Twitter recently.
Lately, when the #selfiewithdaughter trolled on Twitter after Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked people to post their pictures with their daughters, people from all walks of life started posting and stating their viewpoints related to this.
Amongst these, there was Kavita Krishnan, secretary of All India Progressive Women Association (AIPWA) and political bureau member of CPI (ML) who remarked, “Careful before sharing #SelfieWithDaughter with #LameDuckPM. He has a record of stalking daughters” (sic).
Soon after this, she tweeted, “Modi #MannKiBaat speaks of #Rakhi. For him this means protection of corrupt 'sisters:Sushma, Vasundhara, Smriti, Pankaja on whom he's silent” (sic)
However, like many others who immediately trolled Kavita for her viewpoint on the campaign, the same did not go well with our ‘sanskari babuji' either. He tweeted,
“@Ra_Bies @kavita_krishnan jail the bitch” (sic).
In no time, there was an outrage on Twitter, some favouring Kavita's stand while others on the side of ‘babuji'. There were many further, who used foul language for Kavita, while she considered it as a regular for ‘Sanghis'.
