New Delhi: After a stupendous one week, the hit chemistry of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in 2 States continued to attract movie buffers in the second week too.
According to a leading daily, the flick in the second week has made an impressive collection of Rs 24.18 cr in India taking its two weeks collection to Rs 84.95 cr.
Here is its second week breakup- Rs 3.51 cr on Fri, Rs 5.55 cr on Sat, Rs 6.47 on Sun, Rs 2.35 cr o Mon, Rs 2.55 cr on Tue, Rs 2 cr on Wed and Rs 1.75 cr on Thu – Rs 24.18 cr.
With this, the Abhishek Verman directorial is razing towards Rs 100 cr club and what appears from here, the flick may accomplish the milestone by its third week.
By now, ‘2 States' has also jumped to the second spot at box office and is following Salman Khan's ‘Jai Ho' whose lifetime collection stands at Rs 116 cr in India.
What's good news is that there aren't any major releases this week however, Purani Jeans, Kahin Hai Mera Pyar, Angry Young Man and Kya Dilli Kya Lahore which have hit the theatres today might just disturb the flow of ‘2 States' and shatter its dream to enter the elite club.
