New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor's earlier solo releases might not have struck gold at box office but jointly through ‘2 States' they have hit a ton grossing Rs 102.13 cr in India by fourth weekend of its release.
The Abhishek Varman directorial, despite six releases last Friday, witnessed a fair flow of moviegoers at ticket counters earning Rs 3.18 cr nett in its fourth weekend.
“And #2States hits a ton. Crosses Rs 100 cr mark. Week 4: Fri 70 lacs, Sat 1.06 cr, Sun 1.42 cr. Grand total: Rs 102.13 cr nett. SUPER HIT”, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

At overseas too, the Abhishek Varman directorial had a brilliant box office run in three weeks garnering Rs 33.59 cr.

Based on the Chetan Bhagat novel with the same name, the flick also starred Ronit Roy
Amrita Singh, Revathy and Shiv Kumar Subramaniam. 2 States mostly received positive response and trade pundits predicted that it will enter the elite club of Rs 100 cr.
Now looking at the trends, the flick, which released on 18th April, is expected to finish its box office journey with the lifetime domestic collection of Rs 105 cr. We congratulate the makers and the entire case for its dream run at box office.
