Actors Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha were in attendance not only to watch the match, but also to promote their forthcoming film Rowdy Rathore.
With Mumbai Cricket Association banning him from entering Wankhede Stadium for the next five years, Shahrukh was his normal vibrant self at the Pune stadium.
At the Wankhede stadium fracas, Shahrukh had shouted obscenities at a female fan and at MCA officials, guards et al, after a guard pushed her daughter and other children away from the ground.
An FIR was promptly filed by the MCA, and he was banned from the stadium for five years.
