New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal who gave controversial yet impactful ‘Oh My God' two years back will once again reunite for its sequel.
Paresh who will also co-produce the movie in an interview to a leading daily told, “The film will be little different from the first part, but it will be better & impactful. We will mostly start shooting from June.”
The first part invited numerous controversies for raising issues involving God. This irked numerous religious communities while the flick faced ban in most parts of the country however, many were impressed too.
The sequel will have Akshay Kumar reprising his role of modern Lord Krishna. The flick is set to go on floors from June this year.
To be directed by Umesh Shukla, the movie will also star Mithun Chakraborty and Poonam Jhawer in pivotal roles.
Besides ‘OMG 2', Akki also has two other projects lined up this year namely Brothers and Gabbar.
