New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is a happy camper these days. The actor has recently fulfilled his dream of working with south legend Rajnikanth.
Yes! Akshay has been roped in for ‘Robot 2' where he will be seen in a negative role.
While the ‘Baby' actor is quite excited for the movie, he wasn't the first one to be approached for the role.
Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was offered the role in the movie. However, the ‘Piku' actor denied doing the movies saying that his fans won't like him playing a negative role.

But when Khiladi Kumar was asked if he feared the same thing while signing Robot 2, he wittily took a dig at Big B and his fans saying, “My fans are very intelligent”.
Akshay will start shooting for ‘Robot 2' in the next month which will have superstar Rajnikanth in a double role along with Amy Jackson.
He also added that the film has a message in it and he believes in doing movies with social message and this is what attracted him to ‘Robot 2'.
Currently Akshay Kumar is busy promoting his forthcoming movie ‘Airlift' opposite Nimrat Kaur which will hit theatres on January 22, 2016.
