New Delhi: Akshay-Sonakshi's ‘Holiday-A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' is turning out to be a money-minting machine at box office as just within two days of its release the flick is inundated with a mind-blowing collection of Rs 24.48 cr nett in India.
After a flying start on Friday raking in Rs 12.18 cr, the flick went on to make a rock-steady collection of Rs 12.30 cr.

With this, the A.R. Murugadoss flick just stands equivalent to Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘2 States' which within first two days of its release raked in Rs 24.55 cr nett in India.
Now, looking at the box office collection charts, ‘Gunday' enjoys the second position with the two days earning of Rs 28.75 cr in India while Salman Khan's ‘Jai Ho' rules the competition with Rs 33.80 cr collection.
‘Filmistaan' which released alongside ‘Holiday', has shown an excellent growth by 100% thanks to positive word of mouth. The flick has grossed Rs 1.04 cr nett in India.
“Filmistaan Fri 51 lacs, Sat 1.04 cr. Total: Rs 1.55 cr nett. India biz. Biz doubles up on Day 2. Excellent!”, confirms Adarsh.
Holiday is expected to enjoy a good run at box office this week until ‘Fugly' hits the screens next Friday. According to trade analyst, collection of around Rs 40-45 cr is expected in one week while its second week sail will depend upon other releases. So, let's wait and watch for that.
