Murugadoss's ‘Holiday' is now following ‘Jai Ho', which stands tall with the business of Rs 88.78 cr in a week. The momentum it is carrying, it looks possible to surpass Salman Khan starrer but we have to wait for that.
With good review and positive word of mouth, the flick has made an impeccable impression on movie goers not only in India but at overseas too, particularly in UAE-GCC and neighborhood nation Pakistan.
“Holiday Overseas total - Week 1: $ 2.853 million [Rs 17.01 cr]. Has performed best in UAE-GCC and Pakistan”, confirms Adarsh.
Released in over 3500 screen, its worldwide collection goes to Rs 85.73 cr for one week and is still counting.
Filmistaan, starring Sharib Hashmi and Inaamulhaq, enjoyed a decent week doing Rs 4.91 cr business in India.
