New Delhi: For last couple of years we have been witnessing Bollywood being ruled by leggy lasses Deepika, Priyanka, Katrina with the quality of their work, which is being improvised in each passing flick.

It's needless to say that in the competitive world of cinema, which can easily be ruled by any new comer, the experienced actresses are well aware of the fact that the moment they lose grip they lose everything. And they never allow that to happen.

Here is the list of few actresses who need to be back on their toes.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor- Bollywood's fashionista Sonam Kapoor's ‘Raanjhana' was the one flick, which we all applauded for her brilliant act after her stodgy cynical roles like I Hate Love Story, Players among others. But again with Bewakoofiyan, Khoobsurat and Doll Ki Doli she opted to get back into her comfort zone. She requires coming out and accepting some intense roles that value her more as an actress.

Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu- Why the ‘Corporate' actress is desperate to anoint herself as the ‘horror queen' of Bollywood? That's the question pinning her fans all over. Ajnabee, Raaz, Jism were flicks which made her an ultimate sensation but for last couple of years her route to typecast with the horror dramas is making us question that what's wrong with this Bengali beauty. It can't be that projects like ‘Corporate' aren't coming her way but Bipasha needs to get out of her horror genre to reclaim her proper place in Bollywood.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan- Ever since the actress got married she doesn't seem to be interested in the work. No wonder Kareena has ruled cinema for over a decade but there is still much potential in her to excel. Raajneeti, Singham Returns among her last few flicks weren't a bad choice but unfortunately were dominated by the male fraternity. One was clueless how ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein' happened which was like a last nail in the coffin. Of course we don't expect her to reinvent the ‘Jab We Met' magic. But yet her choice shouldn't be vague like her recent projects. Director Abhishek Chaubey's ‘Udta Punjab' could be the one, which should help in changing her image.

Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan- Her choice of roles as a loud lady in recent couple of flicks like Ghanchakkar, Shaadi Ke Side Effects is compelling her fans to doubt her caliber now. Vidya who is the only actress to win most number of Filmfare Awards in last one decade, is slowly losing her sheen. It's not that prior her marriage she accepted such roles, which she couldn't play if offered post marriage. Well, we know she knows what to do as isn't late anyhow for her. Her ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani' is something, which is being looked forward. Being an intense love story by Mohit Suri, Vidya will be seen giving a moving performance.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha- Everyone doubted over Miss Sinha's acting caliber but then she gave her best in Vikramaditya Motwani's ‘Lootera'. Now what prompted her to go back to her masala genre? Sonakshi in an interview said that it's not that she doesn't want to do flicks like Lootera but action-comedy genre is something she mostly enjoys to do. Well Sona, time has come to shed your first choice of doing flicks like Tevar, Action Jackson and work on some serious projects.

Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra- Her bubbly appearances in most of her initial flicks moved one and all. Doing hat-ke flicks like Ishakzaade. Shuddh Desi Romance and even Hasee To Phasee brought her out of the league, which has actresses with mostly glamorous appearances. Her move to go glamorous in Kill Dil with that stout body couldn't lure audience, also because it had less scope for her acting. ‘Daawat-e-ishq' too was a disappointment. With just couple of bad flicks in her kitty, Parineeti isn't so late that she couldn't strike back. She needs to stick to the formula which she followed in her initial days because that makes her different in Bollywood.
