Mumbai/Hyderabad, Mar 30 : Bollywood personalities and politicians tonight congratulated the Indian cricket team for its semi-final victory over Pakistan in Mohali and entry into the final of the cricket World Cup which will be played here on April 2.
Actor Priyanka Chopra posted on Twitter, "Oh my god! What a show of class Team India! The world cup awaits you in Mumbai! ""Well played Pakistan. You guys are formidable opponents. Be proud of what you've achieved this world cup," she tweeted.
Actor Madhavan tweeted, "The BEST part was 2 see the camaraderie and mutual respect between the 2 teams (sic)".

In a message, Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said, "India's victory over Pakistan is show of strength, discipline and team spirit. My best wishes to the
team for the final."
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, in his message, said,"Every Indian is proud of the team for its splendid win against Pakistan. I wish all the best to the team and hope that they will make India world champions."
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the Indian team on its spectacular victory.
In a congratulatory message to the Indian team's capitan M S Dhoni, the Chief Minister said, "It was a well-deserved victory".
"As a cricketer, I am thrilled it was a marvelous performance by all key players. India is really proud of you",the Chief Minister said.He hoped the team would maintain the winning streak and win the coveted World Cup.
In a separate message, Chandrababu also congratulated team India over its stupendous performance and wished Dhoni and Co all the best for the final against Sri Lanka.
Chandrababu, who rarely indulges in any activity other than politics, took time off and stayed glued to the television set watching the thrilling semi-final match along with his family members. PTI
