Lucknow: The Lucknow police has sent a notice to Bollywood actor Mahima Chaudhary summoning her to join investigation into the multi-crore Magnum Finance fraud case within eight days and record her statement.
The company's director Arun Chaturvedi has been arrested and sent to judicial custody after several investors filed fraud complaints with police.
Mahima Chaudhary's name cropped up after several investors pointed out that the actress' picture was used by the company and she took part in the publicity blitz by the group.
The notice sent to Mahima Chaudhary has sought details about her involvement with the group and the terms of agreement with the company.
SP Lucknow Habibul Hasan said several investors complained they were misguided by Mahima's picture.
