Mumbai: For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, a film trailer was released on the screens without a title.
The trailer of veteran Yash Chopra's romantic film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, which was launched on Wednesday had no title. The trailer was launched with Salman-Katrina flick Ek Tha Tiger which opened on I-Day.
The trailer simply ended with ‘A Yash Chopra Romance', which says it all.
Yash Chopra is keeping the title close to his chest.
There had been speculations that the flick was named London Ishq, but Yash Raj Films quickly denied it.
A few months later, a report said it was titled Yeh Kahaan Aa Gaye Hum. This too, is yet to be confirmed.
The 100-second teaser actually dedicates only 35 seconds to the film as it starts off highlighting Chopra's 50 years in the film industry delivering unforgettable films.
“ Films have been my only passion in life. I have always been proud of making films and will continue taking pride in all my films,” Chopra says.
Chopra's new film opens on Diwali. Shah Rukh is back in a romantic role after a long gap and has been paired without Bollywood diva Katrina for the first time.
Sources said, the film is said to be based on Daag , the 1973 superhit, starring Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore and Rakhi Gulzar.
Katrina Kaif went to Mumbai's Ketnav theatre to attend a special screening of her film Ek Tha Tiger which released on Wednesday.
She came from a pooja where the pandit must have put a teeka on her, which stuck on her forehead in such a way that it looked like she had put on sindoor.
