New Delhi: Aamir Khan's PK is on a record breaking spree at box office it seems. The movie on Thursday has made a mammoth collection of Rs 29.46 cr nett in India, which is the highest Christmas Day collection followed by Dhoom 3, which made Rs 23.75 cr on the same day.

The Rajkumar Hirani's directorial's week collection of Rs 185 cr nett is the second biggest total of all time, according to a leading daily Koimoi. Last year Dhoom 3 made an earth shattering collection of Rs 188.98 cr within seven days of its release and takes the number one position.

PK with this is the third highest grosser of the year surpassing Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif's Bang Bang's lifetime collection of Rs 179.08 cr nett in India.

The magical turn around and massive jump on seventh day of its release is unbelievable and rare as no flick in the past has witnessed such percentage of growth. Most of flicks' performance fades after its first weekend no matter what the critics have to say or what is the word of mouth.

PK after its magnificent weekend collection of Rs 95.21 cr, recorded its lowest collection of Rs 19 cr on Tuesday but thereafter it has just witnessed a growth.

Here are the seven days figures of PK-

Fri cr 26.63 cr, Sat 30.40 cr, Sun 38.24 cr, Mon 22.40, Tue 19, Wed 19.56 Thursday- 29.46 cr-  Total Rs 185 cr.

Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 stands third in the list with Rs 166.6 cr earnings in a week.  Salman Khan's Kick is the fourth major week opener of all time with Rs 164.09 cr nett collection.

Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year and Chennai Express take fifth and sixth spot in all time week's collection chart with Rs 157.50 cr and Rs 156.7 cr respectively.

Now, entering in its second week, there doesn't seem a big hurdle for PK since the other two releases Ugly and Lingaa's Hindi version haven't got big number of screens.

According to a leading daily, theatres owners where PK is running houseful refuse to vacate shows for the two new flicks. For Lingaa they say that it's already flop in South so why any theatre would take chances by screening it while for Ugly they feel that it doesn't have a mass appeal.

Ugly is running with just couple of shows in most of the multiplexes while Lingaa rarely has a chance in northern states. With this it's PK-PK all the way!
