Aamir Khan has finally made it public that his most awaited film after Dhoom 3 is going to be a Christmas release this year.
Aamir's PK would be out during Christmas 2014, the actor announced on Monday. In a tweet, he posted, "Hey guys, PK release date is finally locked.... this Christmas.... my lucky date!!! Jai Ho!!!"
What also got loudly highlighted from his tweet was Aamir's extended support to promote buddy Salman Khan's upcoming film ‘Jai Ho.'
PK that stars Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma together in lead roles is expected to clash with Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, as the filmmaker also wanted his neo noir drama film to be a Christmas release this year.
Bombay Velevet casts Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in the lead roles. After Aamir's confirmation of PK's release, it would be interesting to see how far this issue of ‘Christmas release' goes.
But, the viewers have got many reasons to rejoice as all the big days of the year are now have been booked by the B'town biggies, with Salman's ‘Kick' on Eid 2014, Shah Rukh's ‘Happy New Year' on Diwali 2014 and Aamir's PK on Christmas.
