Mumbai: Under fire for his 'intolerance' remark, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has reportedly asked his wife Kiran to leave Mumbai along with children for a few days.
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, the actor has asked Kiran to leave Mumbai for 2-3 days as he is worried over her safety.
The report says that Khan has decided not to talk further on this matter as he has already expressed his opinion.
Khan's intolerance comments created a stir in the society with sections of political parties criticising him, and some supporting him. Aamir had shared that his wife Kiran Rao suggested leaving India in the face of intolerance.

Yesterday, Hindu Sena activists protested outside Khan's residence in suburban Bandra against his remarks on intolerance even as security for the actor was beefed up.
A complaint was also registered yesterday at a police station in New Delhi against Khan for his remark.
