Mumbai: It was a cheerful day when Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan along with industry's other big stars came together for a charity football match.
Organised by Aamir Khan's daughter Ira, the celebrity football match showed a great pomp and show.
With the support of Bollywood's sporty stars including Sohail Khan, Imran Khan, Rahul Bose, Kunal Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Elli Avram, Hazel Keech, Kiran Rao and the little Azad (Aamir's son), the match spilled total fun and energy in the air.
It was junior Bachchan and Aamir Khan who played the skippers for their respective teams. While Aamir's boys were decked up in red, black was the colour for Abhishek's squad.
Salman Khan, who is also considered as one of the close buddies of Aamir Khan in B'town also joined the hands with the actor for the philanthropy and arrived with his ‘Kick' pal, Jacqueline Fernandez for the event.
It was Aamir's red team that took the cake by winning the match, but both the teams showed a friendly gesture and shared the trophy.
The charity celebrity football match was a way to invite people from various zones to donate for an animal welfare organization.
Even Aamir's little son, Azaad too tried his hands over the game and kicked the ball. His mother and everyone else presented out there cheered the kid and enjoyed the moment.
Held at the Cooperage football Ground in Mumbai, the match also witnessed the presence of Nargis Fakhri, Dino Moria, Sushant Singh, Rithvik Dhanjani amongst many other known faces.
To engage people more into the social cause, rewards like spending a day with Imran Khan and visiting the sets of Aamir Khan and Anoushka Sharma starrer ‘PK' were given in lieu of the contribution.
Well, we say it is rare to see such big stars showering such great enthusiasm for a social cause together. A good way to enrich the human minds and forget a bit of stress!
