Bollywood stars have come together to infuse the spirit of paying income tax on time. Noted filmmaker Jayant Gilatar has roped in Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Om Puri and Adi Godrej and finance minister Pranab Mukherjee for this short film. The short film is made for the Government of India. It has the superstars appealing fervently to people to pay their income tax and help the nation develop into a modern country.
Actor Ashish 'LSD' Sharma hosted a surprise party for Jayant to celebrate the completion of this public service film.
Other than Ashish, Richa Sony, Rufe Khan, Naazneen Batliwalla, singers Madhushree and Sufi singer Sahil Multy Khan, models Arif Khan and Sheena Chohan, stylist-designer Umair Zafar, artist Rashmi Pitre, among others came and shared the moment with Jayant Gilatar.
Says Gilatar, "Every citizen of India should be proud to be a taxpayer. I want this documentary to be an inspiration for others to pay their tax on time, and no one can put it better than their role models when it comes to this. I hope our documentary makes a difference in the mindset of the masses."
