New Delhi: Anees Bazmee's ‘Welcome' released in 2007. The movie made the entire nation laugh till their stomachs hurt. The ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Feroze Khan, Paresh Rawal, Katrina Kaif and Mallika Sherawat were appreciated for their performances.
The biggest surprise of the movie was Nana Patekar. Nana, who is treated as one of the most serious actors of Bollywod, shed that image to become Uday, the don who wanted his younger sister Sanjana (Katrina Kaif) to marry a noble man. They found that noble man in Rajiv (Akshay Kumar). Rajiv's uncle Dr. Ghunghroo (Paresh Rawal) tried his best to stop the wedding.
What followed was a string of hilarious moments. As the two gangsters, Uday and Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor), tried to rid the world of evil, their actions sent the viewers on a laughing trip.
