New Delhi: Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is sure in a happy place after the blockbuster success of his big-ticket Dilwali release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' alongside Salman Khan. In his latest release ‘Wazir', he seems to be giving tough competition to Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar.


The ‘New York' star has come a long way in his Bollywood journey overcoming all the hitches that came his way. He has managed to surprise us by playing versatile characters.

The roles in which he stood out the most are the negative ones. He is one villain with enormous amount of suave and looks stunning on-screen.

Today, on his birthday, we bring you a list of 5 best negative characters played by him-

1- Johhny Gaddar- He made his debut by playing a grey character in an off-beat film. Not many have the guts to that. And the best part is he excelled very well and left a mark. The film received immense appreciation from all corners.

2- Players- He gave a surprise to everybody by suddenly turning into a baddie in Abbas-Mustan's ‘Players'. Nobody would have expected him to take such a u-turn in the film. He delivered a solid performance in the ‘The Italian Job' remake.

3- Prem Ratan Dhan Payo- He came across as a perfect antagonist opposite Salman Khan in this Sooraj Barjatya directed him. His villainous attitude was something to look after in this film.

4- Wazir- This is by far Neil's best performance as a villain. He sent chills down the audience's spines. His scary expressions and superb dialogue delivery stood out in this Amitabh Bachchan-Farhan Akhtar starrer.

5- Baaghi- He is playing a negative character in this upcoming love-story that stars Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. The film hasn't released yet but we are sure that it would be great to him as a villain opposite Tiger.
