Mumbai: Director Abhishek Kapoor's forthcoming film, 'Kai Po Che', based on Chetan Bhagat's novel 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life', will hit cinema houses in January next year.
Bhagat's popular book is about three friends, Govind, Ishaan and Omi, who want to pursue their dreams. Set against the backdrop of religious politics, the story underlines the three mistakes made by Govind.
Producer UTV Spotboy today announced the release date for 'Kai Po Che' as January 11, 2013, in a statement here. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh in the lead.
The shooting for the film began last month and it is being shot extensively in Gujarat-- Ahmedabad,Porbandar, Sabarmati, Vadnagar and Diu.
Music for 'Kai Po Che' will be composed by Amit Trivedi with Javed Akhtar penning the lyrics.
