Mumbai Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is all-excited about the appointment of Prithviraj Chavan as the new CM-designate of Maharashtra.The 'Veer-Zara' star wants Chavan to do justice to his name and prove to be an inspiring leader, even as she spelt his name wrong on micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Chauhan is our new CM; He's the namesake of a fearless Rajput King! We hope he can be an inspiring leader and do justice to his name!" she tweeted.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took notice of the mistake and was quick to correct Preity.
"Preity... its Chavan not Chauhan," tweeted the Big B, to which Preity replied, "Sorry Amitji ... it sounds the same so I got confused... Now I will make sure I always write it as Chavan".
Praise has also come the way of Congress leadership, with columnist and former model Shobhaa De saying "Mr Clean appoints another Mr Clean."
